Editorial Policy

This page explains how HapusGapus guides are researched, written, checked and kept up to date.

What we cover

We publish practical guides on refrigerators and home appliances: troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, energy use, safety standards and buying basics. We don’t publish sponsored articles or paid placements.

How a guide is written

  • Every guide starts with the question a real owner is asking, and answers it near the top of the page.
  • We check facts against manufacturer manuals and spec sheets, published safety and energy standards, and well-documented owner experience.
  • Steps are written in the order you’d actually do them, with the tools and parts you need listed up front.
  • Where a job involves mains wiring, gas or refrigerant, we say so plainly and recommend a licensed technician.

Use of AI tools

We use AI-assisted tools to help with research outlines and first drafts. Nothing is published without a human editor reviewing it for accuracy, safety and clarity, and the editor is responsible for the final text.

Updates and corrections

Appliance models and standards change, so we revisit guides and update them when information goes out of date. If you find an error, email [email protected] or use our Contact page with the page link. Confirmed errors are fixed promptly.

Advertising and independence

HapusGapus is supported by display ads served by third-party networks. Ads are clearly separate from our content, and advertisers have no influence over what we write or recommend.

Who is responsible
